GITEX 2013 was closed in Dubai World Trade Center last week. The five days Middle East exhibition started from 20^th to 24^th October. It attracted thousands of companies and visitors to join. GITEX is the ICT business gateway to the Middle East, North Africa and South Asia Region. GITEX’s role in the ICT industry is pivotal for the re-export market. It is an annual international trading hub for the global technology sector. GITEX acts as both, an inbound sourcing platform for the entire Middle East region and the eminent source for anyone interested in doing business in the region. Including etisalat, Huawei, Cisco, Oracle etc. international giants exhibited their latest technologies during the show. DONJIN also showcased its latest mobile signaling value added service and Keygoe platform.

Many visitors focused on MSVAS apps which include SMSC, USSD Gateway, CRBT, Location Based Service, etc. The MSVAS platform mainly includes the signaling access part and signaling processing part. The signaling access part, processed by Donjin Keygoe multimedia switches, can access the signaling of mobile networks such as the mobile core network, SS7 network, and mobile IN network. It can transmit the messages on the layers of message transfer part (MTP)1, MTP2, and MTP3, and then transfer the messages to the signaling processing part through the API or TCP/IP.

The signaling processing part is signaling processing software that runs on the host. By connecting to the signaling access part, it can receive messages from/send messages to the signaling access part. After that, it starts to access the SS7 stack telephone user part (TUP), ISUP user part (ISUP), signaling connection control part (SCCP), transaction capability application part (TCAP), mobile application part (MAP), and CAP; then, it forwards the messages to the application through the API to achieve various signaling services.

Visitors from Sudan and UAE have decided to rebuild their SMSC and USSD Center on this platform. They believe this new platform will expand their system capability and improve stability. Except MSVAS, DONJIN Keygoe Multimedia platform also won attentions of the visitors.
